Will this mount on a dovetail or do I need to get a picatinny rail for my Anschutz 1761?

The Unimount, like all Nightforce rings and mounts, is designed to be attached to a Picatinny (MIL-STD-1913) rail. It is not dovetail compatible.

Depending on your use, you might prefer the extended version of the Extended Unimount Ultralight over this one. Check it out.

A 20 MOA base can be very useful for shooters looking to shoot long range, beyond the adjustment abilities of the scope they are using. For 6.5 Creedmoor, that's very possible. As far as which of these you need, it will depend on the tube diameter of your scope - Unfortunately, I'm not able to figure that out and give you a recommendation based on only the magnification and objective lens diameter.
