picatinny rail for scope mount to leofoto tripod

Leofoto GSA-80 Arca/Picatinny Rail
Had a Benchrest scope that I replaced with ffp 6-26x56. I had no use for the BR Scope until I decided to make a spotter out of it. This worked really well and now I have a really great spotter which I can easily remove to mount rifles on the tripod. Made my range gear versatile and user friendly. Great idea Leofoto.

Perfect for my Anschutz 1761D MSR. Only complaint is instructions for zeroing are a little vague. Once I figured it out though, got it zeroed @ 50yds. Next I'll see if my ballistics calculator is good at adjusting it to yds. Should be...

Pelican VAULT V700 Takedown Gun Case
Perfect fit for a new PRC 6.5 Creedmoor with folding stock. It was a little messy cutting to form, but got it done. The whole thing fits nicely in my gun safe and in the back seat of my vehicle.
Recommend it highly.

Vortex Razer 4000 Rangefinder w/GB
Written on Feb 15, 2025
At the range yesterday I ranged a 50.7 target. The 6.5 Creedmoor worked great. But with .22 LR windage was off a bit to the left. Elevation seemed OK more-or-less. Anyway acceptable. New scope NF Benchrest 12-42X56 had previously been zeroed at 20 yds.
Anyway I started getting fat groups at 50 yds. The scope is still a work in progress though. Having trouble figuring out the number of clicks to = MOA recommendations. In other words, how many clicks to put in for 1.7 MOA's.
I'm still learning.....

Vortex Spotting Scope 16-48X65

Vortex Crossfire HD 16-48x65 Spotting Scope
Perfect for 100yd range. Can easily see bullet holes on a splattershot target. I imagine it would be squint @ 200yds, but at that distance all of them would be.

Spotting scope tripod
Written on Feb 05, 2025
Used this weekend on 100yd range to zero a scope and worked great. In fact I was using it to spot for another shooter. The tripod and scope worked very well. Could see bullet holes very easily on splattershot targets. 4.0

As with the tripod. Using it for spotting shot groups at 25 yds. Will be using at 100 yd range tomorrow. Stay tuned.
