no adaptor can use for it, it use CR123A or rechargeable battery 16340 3V, if you want to save battery cost, you can use 16340 rechargeable battery, it can be recharge 500 times. By the way, from ebay or other place you can also order cheap CR123A battery under USD5.00/pc

I would recommend you look at a higher grade night vision unit as this night vision manufactured by NightStar is not going to do well in extreme temperatures.
