The Nikko Stirling Diamond 4-16x50mm Rifle Scope houses a CR2032 battery in the illumination dial/turret. Simply remove the cap of the turret to access the battery.

I took a pair of channel locks and put a rubber band around the ring, applied enough pressure so it wouldn’t slip when turning the cap off to install the battery, that worked really well. Did the rubber band so it wouldn’t slip grip it and would scape the numbers off with the channel locks. Hope this works for you guys

There is no simple way to remove the cap. I can’t remove mine at all. I the there is a battery contained with the cap, but details of how to remove would be helpful. Nikki Stirling does not give a description at all, other than simply remove. Is the cap pressed in, threaded? What tools do you need. Searching for answers online and nobody can respond except saying “simply”. Very frustrating for any who ask, because there apparently isn’t an answer. Simply doesn’t cut it.
