Can you describe the rings that come with it? Dovetail or Picattiny? etc...

The Nikko Stirling Targetmaster 4-16x44mm Scope does not include scope rings. It will be able to use 1" scope rings with a recommended medium height on bolt guns and high to extra high height on the AR15/AR10 platform.

I am wondering this my self. I actually have the scope mounted on my savage 110 la 7mm mag. I really like the scope it stays on paper at 100 yards an reacts to adjustment but then I get a flyer. my guess is the scope is fine but maybe I didn't wait long enough an the small factory barrel warmed up.
