Yes both should. I however would recommend MPN: 16404 specifically because the optimal height for any AR platform rifle is around a 1.4 - 1.6 inch optical center.

yes, this mount is 30mm (15mm from center) inside diameter, plus the distance from the bottom of the scope hole to the top of the picatinny rail is approximately 7.5-9mm, plus aproximately 7-9 mm for the thickness of the picatinny rail. this totals to a minimum of 29.5 mm from the center of the 42 mm scope (21mm)to the top of the barrel. You should have approximately 8mm clearance.
