Yes. My uncle bought a Savage 17 WSM and installed this 4-12 x 40 Nikon scope. He uses it to take out gofers and squirrels in East Texas. He and I had a shoot out contest with me using a 22 Mag with the exact same scope. At 100 yds both rifles were very similar in accuracy using bench rests. His 17 WSM was able to shoot out beyond 100 yards with more accuracy. You won’t go wrong installing this Nikon on any Rimfire once you zero it in!
