Does this scope mount direct or do you need to by mounting kit also how is for a Henry .357 or Marlin .44 mag?

Does this scope need to be ordered with a specific chambering, or can the BDC reticle and Nikon Spot On software be usable mounted to any caliber?

You would use the BDC with the Nikon Spot-On software.

Yes, Nikon tests all their scopes up to .50bmg so this should work just fine.
