You could go with a Troy Battle rail, which has an inside diameter of 1.57"

Yes, it will work with your setup. The gas vents out the front of the gas block.

The MK14 rail is too narrow at 1.27" inside diameter, as this gas block has a 1.383" outside diameter.

No it will not, this gas block has an outer diameter of 1.383" and the rail has an inside diameter of 1.35"
