Is this receiver compatible with rails that have anti-rotation tabs? Have a BCM KMR and heard that it might not work with these Noveske MUR uppers.

This upper will not work with handguards that have anti-rotational tabs like the BCM KMR.

No. The upper is reinforced and thicker where the anti rotation tabs are located. If you would like to use this upper receiver, you would need a hand guard that eitjer a. you time b. you shim or c. uses an anti rotation pin that mates with the center of the receiver.

What’s the difference between this and a regular Milspec upper?

The receiver is forged with a thicker construction compared to the Mil-spec. Since it is thicker it will not work with all handgaurds. Handgaurds with anti-rotation tabs that fit around the upper receiver like BCM, Geissele, Midwest Industries, etc... will not work. But everything else is gtg.

No. MI requires a Mil spec upper to fit the anti rotation tabs. This receiver is thicker where the tabs would go do will not index properly.

Yes. The KAC RAS uses a delta ring and does not have any anti rotation tabs to interfere with the reinforced upper receiver.

The original VLTOR MUR isnt compatible with the Geissele Super Charging Handle. Is the Noveske marked version compatible the Geissele SCH?

This is an AR-15 upper receiver compatible with AR-15 parts. Yes, it will accommodate your standard .223/5.56 Noveske bolt carrier group.
