Hi, No, this feeder only throws corn via the spinplate. If you are looking for a feeder that drops feed, I would suggest taking a look at the Shakedown (item# 74000) and Shakedown XL (item# 73500) feeders. These units are adjustable to feed anything from rice bran to corn (just nothing sticky should be used), and they drop the feed straight down from the hopper.
