Will this scope work on a CVA Cascade XT .308 cal rifle? How about the mounting system? Do I need a special mounting system?

The ATN OPMOD X-Sight LTV 4-12x, Day/Night Hunting Rifle Scope will mount to a CVA Cascade rifle in .308 Winchester. The ATN OPMOD X-Sight LTV 4-12x, Day/Night Hunting Rifle Scope comes with a mount that mounts to picatinny rail, so you will need a picatinny rail base for your rifle. The base at the link below should work with your rifle.

What is the field of view for the LTV 4-12x30 at minimum magnification for 100 yds or for 1000 yds?

What MILSPEC Generation is this scope? Retired military sniper, only familiar with Gen I, II, III etc. What is the difference and what would you qualify this scope as: I, II, III? Always have used O.P. for all my optics needs, great outfit.

What is the minimum distance needed between ring mounts on a 1 piece scope mount? I saw a review and the mount seems excessively high.

ATN does not specify the exact distance between rings needed in order to use a 1-piece scope mount for their X-Sight LTV 4-12x. The included mount sits at a 1.4" centerline height with is designed to be ideal for the AR15 platform.

That is a very hard question to answer because the multiple variables that have an effect on the distance you can effectively use the ATN OPMOD X-Sight LTV 4-12x, Day/Night Hunting Rifle Scope. The ATN OPMOD X-Sight LTV 4-12x, Day/Night Hunting Rifle Scope has a max magnification of 12X, which means it will magnify a target at a given distances to 12x what it is with the naked eye. does the scope stay zero in when you turn it off

Yes. The ATN OPMOD X-Sight LTV 4-12x, Day/Night Hunting Rifle Scope will retain its zero even while powered off. You can only change the zero by going into the zero settings and physically adjusting the set zero.
