will this fit a weaver mount? — 2 Answers

they aren't exactly the same and I wouldn't use a pic mount to hang from a weaver optic over a 300ft drop. but most of the time they will work. I ran a weaver accessory on my m4 in Afghanistan for 2 years before I found out that it was a weaver mount. I called weaver and asked if I could order another set of their rings to have them sent to me in Afghanistan. they told me that they hadn't made a set of pic rings ever at that point... needless to say I found out that command ordered a ring set that was weaver for pic rails. over 100 sets in fact...nobody had issues, mine just got chewed up over 2 tours from use in vehicles. shorter answer, they will work, just don't tell them that they are different, like an adopted kid.
