The OpticsPlanet Exclusive RISE Armament RA-242 Gen 2 Enhanced Rifle Trigger has an updated housing and springs. It is also easier to install and has a lighter trigger pull.

Not sure why Ethan thinks it’s a lighter trigger pull. The manufacturer literature clearly says that both have a 3.5lb trigger pull. So my question remains; other than cosmetic differences and frankly an installation procedure that is apparently more of a hassle in fact than the gen 1. What is the difference?

looks like the only difference is the housing is slanted instead of box looking like on the gen1. maybe you save like half an ounce lol.

I have both and the Gen 2 seems crisper. Out of the box the first five pulls were with a digital gage and the average was 1lb 14.3oz. I like the feel of the Gen2 better but they are both nice.
