is it square tang small frame 357 grip? And will it fit a Dan Wesson model 357

The Pachmayr Diamond Pro Series Grip for N frame revolvers, like the S&W 357, is designed for a round butt. So it will fit the S&W 357 as intended.

Will this grip fit other j series smith Wesson's...specifically a 637?

MPN: 2478 should fit on any J-Frame revolver with a round butt. The S&W 637 is typically a round butt J-Frame.

The location of the hole to mount this grip is not consistent with the S&W 629. The shipped grip does not work on this model
