Unfortunately, POF USA doesn't provide that information.

POF does provide this information. For 5.56 blocks the roof height above the barrel is exactly .620" above the barrel (space between top edge of barrel bearing surface of journal to top of block). For 7.62 blocks the roof height is .680". Other dims are .195" trough height for both 5.56 and 7.62 blocks (space between bottom edge of barrel bearing surface of journal to bottom of block). Each side of both blocks is also .080". Thickness of each block's gas port section (section containing the adjustment and gas tube housing) side-to-side measurement is .430", for those having vaulted or minimalist rails.

Reported to be .611", so a little over a half inch. The block is said to be 1.570" OAH, and approximately .986" from the bore centerline to the top, so .986 -.375 (half of journal size) equals .611".
