Is this compatable with 9mm cz scorpion & SP5k/MP5k ?

A
Answered by Mike, guest, from NY, United States, on June 18, 2025

No, the only options for this brake are in 22 caliber and 30 caliber. The 9mm cartridge is a 35 caliber and would result in a baffle strike.

Yes, the EFAB was made with barrels shorter than 14.5" in mind. Its an extremely comfortable brake to shoot and is great on AR Pistols and SBRs.

Should I use any thread loc on my EFAB?

A
Answered by Mike, guest, from NY, United States, on June 18, 2025

The use of thread-lock is entirely up to the individual. Precision Armament recommends tightening down the brake 20-30 ft-lbs and that should be fine. If using a thread-lock such as Rockset, make sure you give it time to season/dry. This can take 3-5 days but can be quicker if you use a heat gun.

The Precision Armament EFAB Hybrid Muzzle Brake diameter at the barrel is .90". However, the manufacturer doesn't specify the diameter at its widest point. I recommend contacting the manufacturer for that information.
