Yes it's dimable and you can focus the beam, however my remote pressure switch can only dim, the + button only continues to dim the light, cycling the tail cap switch will reset it to max output though so I don't find it to be that big of a deal.

How do you determine the wattage on the bulb Tail cap amperage times battery voltage ?

Answered by Mark H., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on February 20, 2018

Not sure if I understand your question as it relates to "wattage on the bulb tail cap", but in general, any wattage is determined by multiplication - the ampere (or amps) is the amount of electricity used. Voltage measures the force or pressure of the electricity. The number of watts is equal to amps multiplied by volts.

is this a red or green light?

This is an infrared illuminator, it is not a green or red hunting light. The Coyote Reaper IR Light Kit emits an infrared beam that can not be seen by the human eye. The Coyote Reaper IR Light Kit is designed for specialized Night Vision Optics only. If you do not have a night vision scope you will need the Coyote Reaper Light Kit with a GREEN or RED LED Bulb Module. The Coyote Reaper Light Kit with a GREEN or RED LED Bulb Module will work with your regular rifle scope and allow you to see long distances at night when night hunting.
