Flip caps are included with the scope, it does not come with a mount.

Does this scope work with the primary arms folding throw lever?

The Primary Arms GLx4 Folding Throw Lever is not compatible with the Primary Arms 1-8 x 24 mm Rifle Scope.

What mount would you recommend for this optic if you want to avoid seeing your front sights?

For the Primary Arms 1-8 x 24 mm Rifle Scope I recommend using amount like this Vortex Sport Cantilever Mount.

However, to ensure your iron sights aren't in the way I recommend using a set of flip up sights.

Will this scope work with an A2 fixed front sight ? Is there a riser to set it over front sight to 1/3 co-witnesses. Or higher bore height to clear .

There is no need for a riser, once you move past 3x magnification the A2 post will not block any FOV of the scope.

At what power does the range finding work?

The rangefinding capability of the scope are based off the reticle - not like an automatic rangefinder. The scope reticle includes a rangefinding reticle on the right hand side to place the target and measure the target's size to range your distances.
