Primary Arms does not provide an overall objective diameter for their GLx 2.5-10x44mm Rifle Scope besides stating it features a 44mm objective lens. is the ACSS reticle suitable for 30-06?

The Primary Arms 2.5-10 x 44 mm Rifle Scope with the ACSS reticle was not designed for 30-06. However, Ballistic calculators can tell you specific MIL-based drops for any barrel and cartridge, which you can remember and utilize when engaging targets at those distances. You can determine your real holds with applications like Strelok.

The ACSS Raptor scope with the same part number on the primary arms website has a different reticle. Is your information wrong?

Thank you for pointing this out. There are currently two pictures shown, the reticle with the triangular BDC & movement markers is correct.

What part of the reticle is illuminated? Just the chevron or the horseshoe too?

The center chevron is the part of the optic that is illuminated.

What sort of flip up covers are available for both the ocular and objective lenses? Any by Primary Arms?

Primary Arms pictures these scopes with Butler Creek caps on their website, however they do not currently list what size fit or the required dimensions to determine fit. We can assist you with the correct caps if you contact us at techsales@opticsplanet.com with the outside diameter of the objective and eyepiece.
