The mount will not completely allow the scope to clear a fixed front sight. Up to around 3x magnification, the front sight will be visible through the scope. Once you hit around 2x/3x magnification, the field of view should push past the front sight.

Q
Bud Green, guest, from OH, United States, asked on February 06, 2020

Can I use this mount with a 1-6x24mm SFP scope and still use the stock front sight to co-witness?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Armando R., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on February 26, 2020

No, because it is a magnified optic, the sights cannot be effectively co-witnessed through the scope especially if the scope is not a true 1 power scope. The mount measures 1.5" to the center which means the sights will be visible through the scope up to around 3x magnification. That is when the magnification will push the field of view past the front sight.
