Yes, this does come with the quick detach adapter. Unfortunately we do not have replacement adapters for it at this time.

The Primos Hunting Trigger Stick Gen 3 Tall Tripod Stooting Stick legs are made from aluminum and the grip and rest are plastic.

There is no difference between the two models of Primos Hunting Trigger Stick Gen 3 Tall Tripod Stooting Sticks other than one comes with the scabbard. There is a current sale on the scabbard model.

can you buy and adapter that will hold your gun

There is not an adapter for the Primos Hunting Trigger Stick Gen 3 Tall Tripod Stooting Stick that will hold your gun. This is meant to be used as a rest to give you a more stable base while shooting. The tripod below does however have a vise to hold your gun in the mount by itself.

What size is the gen 3 optics adapter

The adapter is a 1/4x20 screw adapter meant for use with standard cameras, spotting scopes and other tripod mounted optics with the 1/4x20 screw hole on the bottom of the unit/adapter.
