Any "Colt SMG" pattern magazine should work (CMMG, Brownells, NERD, etc)

Metalform (same as PSA) metal mags work great. Have 9 of them. work 100% of the time. Promag plastic mags - not so much. Magwell adapter is awesome though. Heavy use for 3+ years.

Finally got my AR 9 together using this adapter. The ASC AR-15 9mm 32-Round mags work very well. Stay away from the promags they do not work even though promag suggest them for this adapter.
