Is there a way that you could attach a top rail to this stock to mount a scope to it? Or am I better off using the dovetail I the mosin? — 3 Answers

Unfortunately there is no where to mount a rail on this stock.

I put a rail on mine, look up Rock Solid Industries, Mosin mounts. Requires drill & tap for rear screws but you can use the front sight metal to pin it. Also cut the mount to fit your for eye relief. You should also look at Archangel stock to get the Magazine. Easy to do though...

I installed a mount I bought off Optics planet on the barrel itself. I have not bought the archangel stock yet though.
