Is there a way that you could attach a top rail to this stock to mount a scope to it? Or am I better off using the dovetail I the mosin?

This stock incorporates three (3) integral steel inserts for mounting ball lock / push button quick detach sling swivels.

This stock fits the classic Mosin Nagant rifle including most M1891, 91/30, M-38, M-44, Chinese T-53 carbines in both hex and round receivers; will fit the Finnish M-39 rifles and carbines with some modifications.

You can use the original trigger. Upgrading to the Timney trigger is simply an option you can choose to make with this stock, but is not a requirement.

Yes, the stock will include a 5rd magazine, but there is also a 10 rd magazine available.
