PS Products does not provide the overall length of their AR15/M16 Gun Cleaning Kit. I'd recommend reaching out to them directly for more information.

These US GI kits are for M16/AR15 20" barrels or less. One cleans from the receiver to the muzzle therefore 30" rod is required. Most kit have a short rod about 4" that converts the GI 8-36 to commercial 8-32 thread for commercial brushes. GI kit come with 8-36 threads. I done know why ! I always have some kind of compact rod with me when in the field. Never can tell if you might need it to clean the barrel bore. Be prepared. ���
