R&D Precision does not provide material specifications for their 9mm Colt Pattern Mag Well Insert. I would recommend contacting them directly for more information.

The R&D Precision Colt mag insert is machined with aluminum then sent in for ANO to get the nice black coating it has. It looks much better in person.
