No, the Radian Weapons Afterburner is only compatible with Glock 19 model pistols. A Glock 17 version is not currently available.

do I need a new recoil spring? If so any idea what you poundage spring id need?

The Radian Weapons Afterburner may require you to change your recoil spring in order to ensure proper functionality. I would recommend using the Ramjet with your OEM spring with the standard Ammo you typically use to see if it functions without malfunctions. If you do experience malfunctions, Radian Weapons recommends using their Quick Tune Guide Rod, which can be found by using the link below:
