I’ve shot a couple of thousand steel case through my radical 7.62x39 and not one issue.

I had a lot of trouble with Red Army Standard ammo. The casings showed strikes where the pin hit the casing but numerous misfires. I tried those same rounds in my AK and they fired. I switched over to wolf ammo and it cycles beautiful.

I think that ammo will work fine. There is a video out there of a guy putting several different brands of 7.62x39 through a RF upper reciever. If you search Radical Firearms 7.62x39 on YouTube you can watch the video.
