Will this be good for 556 too or is it good for just 223?

300 Blackout? will this work with a 300 Blackout?

This Real Avid AR-15 Tactical Maintenance Kit In Tool Bag includes a Gun Boss Multi-Kit which is specifically designed for 5.56/.223. Since 300 Blackout has a larger bullet diameter a .308 cleaning kit would be better to use.
