I used it to install my 300 blk barrel. After I snugged it down a little more than hand tight I added the vise lug bar in. Held just fine to torque to barrel spec.

It should work for any AR15 barrel with a standard AR15 barrel extension, so 6.5 Grendel and 224 Valkyrie should be compatible assuming the barrel has the star pattern in the barrel extension. Calibers like 9mm where the barrel extension does not have the star grooves would not be compatible.
