This will fit the lower of an AR9, but many recommend using a pistol caliber carbine dedicated trigger specifically because of the nature of a blow back system and the force is puts upon the hammer when it is reciprocating. PCC triggers usually have slightly beefier hammers/springs to accommodate for the extra force.
Rise Armament builds their own "Flash Series AR9’s" and they come standard with their 535 Advanced Performance Trigger. So if the company that makes this trigger, puts it in their AR9 builds 7" barrel all the way to 16" barrel, I think it’s safe to say that this trigger is perfect for a AR9 build, and I’m putting one in mine, and also putting one in my Sig MPX. Hope this info helps you out.
Hi,
Not too contradict your answer, but about 2 years ago tactical sh$t named the 535 as a top 5 for 9mm PCC. I put one in mine and so far no issues, shoots great. Tried to contact Rise for their take on the application, no response.
They do make a great trigger!
I put in my CMMG 45 and aero ar9 setup, both application over 1k round and Never saw any issue. I get it issuew/ geissele ssa-e , hammer rip and bcg bind! Can be safely use to 535's at pcc application.
