What size rings does this scope take

Why is the eye relief less than 4 inches. I find this quite unusual for Riton because on any large caliber of rifle, you need at least 4 inches.

The X1 Primal 4-16x44 has Japanese glass with a final assembly in China. We also finish the process with a dual quality control inspection in Tucson, AZ.
