It's a lower 1/3 and set up for a left swing. You could mount it backwards, but then it'd be a pull to get it out of the lock. It's a pretty strong spring. Pushing, as designed, seems more natural.

The magnifier is the product on this page. The Riton red dot in the picture is an unlimited eye relief optic. The placement of the magnifier is correct.

Just going off the numbers, this clearly has a better eye relief than any of the Primary Arms Magnifiers. Even the PA magnifier is 2.64" and the Riton is advertised as 3.5".
