Yes, the Riton RT-S Mod 3 Gen 2 1-4x24mm Rifle Scope has a 1x magnification for its lowest setting. I personally use a LPVO on my rifle because it provides more options for the distances I will be shooting. One set up is not necessarily better than the other it just comes down to what you will be primarily using it for.

Considering this scope for my big boomers. How will it hold up to a .375 H&H and .416 Rigby?

This will hold up fine, however the reticle is designed for .223, so you will have to recalculate the drop values.

Will the BDC work properly on a 300 blackout?

When making shots with your 300 blackout does the bullet drop resemble .556 bullet drop?If it doe's then the BDC will work properly.
