The Rival Arms Glock 17 Gen 5 Precision Threaded Drop-in Barrel will not fit a Gen 4 Glock 17. The barrel at the link below will fit a Gen 4 Glock 17.

Will this drop in barrel work with a Zev Custom Glock 19 slide?

No, the Rival Arms Glock 17 Gen 5 Precision Threaded Drop-in Barrel is only compatible with gen 5 Glock 17 model pistols. You would be able to use any Glock 19 threaded barrel for your ZEV.

Is replacing the guiderod/spring necessary or recommend? Or is the stock one just fine?

The Rival Arms Glock 17 Gen 5 Precision Threaded Drop-in Barrel will not require you to replace your guide rod. The OEM guide rod will function just fine.

Are these barrels rated for +P ammo?

Yes. As OEM, the Rival Arms Glock 17 Gen 5 Precision Threaded Drop-in Barrel will work with light usage of +P ammunition. Reloads or +P+ is not recommended as higher pressure ammo will cause excessive wear and tear. Only use factory loaded SAAMI spec +P in light amounts.
