From most reviews I am seeing, the jackets run pretty true to size with them running a tiny bit big in some instances. I would probably get an XL if you ever wear sweaters or a thicker top. But if you just plan on wearing a t-shirt, the large should be fine, unless you prefer it to be a little looser. I prefer to run my jackets a tiny bit bigger because I tend to layer whenever needed.

Hi,
I guess yes, the size of L will be somewhat cramped to you.
Moreover, sometimes you will have to wear not only a T-shirt under your jacket.
