What about the M& P 2.0 Compact with 3.1” barrel

The SAM 04-06031-01 M&P SHIELD POCKET COMPENSATOR should work with that M&P Compact if it has a 1/2x28 threaded barrel.

Yes, the SAM 04-06031-01 M&P SHIELD POCKET COMPENSATOR is only for 9mm M&P Shields. Unfortunately we currently do not have a M&P Shield 40 caliber compensator.

Yes. The Shield Pocket Comp is compatible with the M&P 9 Shield, M&P 9 Shield M2.0, and M&P 9 Shield PLUS. It is specifically designed to blend with S&W M&P Shield slide.

Will this only work with the 9mm? Will it work with my M&P 40?

The Shield Pocket Comp is not compatible with 40 S&W. It only works with 9mm with factory recoil spring using a wide range of bullet weights and velocities (124gr or heavier, may work with 115gr depending on manufacturer and/or temperature)

I've seen they offer two colors. Black and natural. Which one matches the factory color of the slide on the Shield? Its hard to tell by the pictures.

The natural color is a Gray color and the Black will match the factory finish better.
