No, it doesn't lock in the closed position. Folds much easier than some other brands.
comes as pictured. well made. feels like quality. just got one and install3d it on my CA MPP (chambered in 6.5 creedmoor). my only complaint is that it doesn't "lock" in the closed/folded position. I solved it by gluing a 1/2-in x 2-in piece of hook-and-loop (velcro) along the back part of the stocks frame, then gluing the other side to the frame of the MPP. it's a temp solve and keeps it from flopping around. I don't carry it around, so it's a minor issue for my use-case. hope that covered what you're asking (lol). there are no short answers when talking to me! I babble.
As long as the butt end of your AR style rifle has a 2-slot 1913/picatinny rail segment welded to it (or firmly integrated into the ARs butt end in some way), then YES, it will.

it feels too solid to be 3D printed. honestly. the whole package feels sturdy. well designed. well put together. manufacturered from what feel like quality, solid materials. if I had to guess, I'd say it was compression molded. looking at the cheek-rest from the underside, I see a seam and a tiny bit of flashing along the cheek-rest centerline. to me, that's a pretty solid indication that it's a molded plastic or polymer.
the folding hinge you see in the listing pics is integrated into the stock. as long as you've got a 2-slot 1913 picatinny rail segment integrated/attached/welded onto the butt end of the gun you're wanting to install this on, you'll be golden.
speaking to your specific question... it DOES NOT come with the 1913 segment that you need on the butt end of the thing you're trying to attach this stock to.
