No, this is not a true tube radio. It only has the aesthetic appearance of one.

The product info states this radio has an alarm. I do not see anything on the radio that supports this. Is this an accurate description?

The Sangean WR-12 does not have an alarm feature.

Can this radio decode CQUAM transmissions?

C-QUAM (Compatible QUadrature Amplitude Modulation) is the method of AM stereo broadcasting used in Canada, the United States and most other countries. This is an AM/FM Stereo, so it should work appropriately.

What type of headphones are compatible with this unit?
