do the AA batteries charge in the unit?

The Sangean AM/FM/WX/Bluetooth Aux-in Rugged Rechargeable Digital Tuning Radio uses a rechargeable internal battery via AC 230V - DC 12V / 1.2A. It does not utilize AA batteries.
