No, this item only has the DC input.

How does one select one of the forty presets. My current Sangean clock radio has ten buttons to do this. Does this Sangean offer atomic time?

Quickly press and release the Preset button and then press Tuning up / down button to select the required preset number. Press the Select button to recall the memory station.
