Yes, this brace is meant specifically for AR pistols and comes with the buffer tube for it.

The SBA4 kit comes with the receiver extension, brace and adjustable nylon strap.

What buffer & spring will work best on this with on a carbine gas length

That will depend on your barrel length, I prefer the Geissele Super 42 buffer system, anything shorter than a 14.5, I would say use a H2 buffer and anything shorter than a 11.5, I would recommend the H3 version.

Yes, it should work as long as your buffer tube is a Mil-Spec version.
