Description has two different part numbers - SW0820 and SW0720. Which one is the actual mount?

These Scalarworks QD Scope Mounts are models SW0720 and SW0730 but they are currently not available. The mount at the link below is model SW0820.

Will this mount work with a Schmidt & Bender 1-8x24 PM II Short dot Dual scope on ar-15?

Yes. The Scalarworks QD Scope Mount is 1.93" to center of the optic making it ideal for the AR15 platform and night vision use. Scalarworks does make a mount that is 1.57" center height which may be a better option if you are not using night vision.

Would this be a good height for an Eotech Vudu (5-25x50) on a Ruger American Rifle?

While this Scalarworks QD Scope Mount will work with your setup, it may sit a little too high up making it uncomfortable to use on a Ruger American. With a 50mm objective lens I'd recommend using high height rings or AR15 height mounts. Aero Precision makes a nice mount that would work well with your setup found using the following link:

Yeah a 1.57” mount
