Will it mount on an 80’s era USMilitary web belt securely?

This pouch is designed to go on modern PALS webbing. For the 80's era belt, I believe there would be too much movement since it doesn't have PALS webbing to secure it properly.

Ak mags are too big for this pouch. M4 mags only!
