Unfortunately while a .40 slide will work on a 9mm P229, the 9mm slide (such as the one that comes with the kit) will not work with the .40 barrel. The .357 option may not work either as the 9mm uses a different breech face. If you want to run the Romeo1 on your P229, you can do so by using this mount: https://www.opticsplanet.com/sig-sauer-sor11004.html?_iv_gun-model=229-1 which replaces your rear iron sight.
