The IG SAUER Romeo M17 1x24mm Red Dot Sight only fits M17/M18 military issue, and commemorative pistols with a single optics plate mounting screw. This sight will not fit any other pistols.

You can check your M18 if it has one or two mounting screws for the Romeo M18 optic. At the back of your M18 there is a backplate that is held in place by the plunger, take a small pen and depress the plunger and slowly pull it out and at the same time slowly slide the backplate off the slide. Set them aside. You then slowly remove the striker from the slide be carefull not to lose the spring also becareful not to lose the little slide retention. Look under the slude and you will be able to determine if your M18 has one optic plate screw.

Not off the shelf it will not but there are 2 gunsmiths in the country that are offering to add the necessary mounting holes for this optic for the commercial m18. The approved gunsmith for LA County Sheriff’s Department did mine and mounted and zero the optic when I sent it in
