Yes, this SIG SAUER ROMEO-X Compact features an enclosed emitter.
Yes, the SIG SAUER ROMEO-X Compact will mount directly to your optic cut slide without the need for an adapter plate.
It depends on each individual optic, what type of demo gun it was mounted on. A display model typically has very little wear compared to a demo range gun which typically can have more wear and tear. They aren’t going to take pics of each individual optic. In the past I have seen some “demo”, “open box” or “returned but never used” options. It’s really difficult to describe what “used” condition they are in because one person “good” condition can vary from another persons “good” condition.
Yes, it has MOTAC and if I remember correctly you can fully turn it off as well as set it to manual mode. Sigs MOTAC very good. You do not need to “shake” it to activate it, as soon as the gun or optic is moved it activates. I can’t remember if it’s 5 or 10 minutes of no movement to turn itself off.

Yes, you can select multiple variations of the reticle.
Definitely. This is the “compact” model meant for micro compacts, single stacks, and other small pistols. Sig does make a full size version of this, the Romeo X, I believe there are different levels or options like the compact. There is a base version, elite, and pro versions. You can also choose between open and closed emitter options. Sig has really stepped up the quality, features and build quality of their optics. I don’t work for Sig, I do run a gun shop and we sell Sigs guns, optics, knives and suppressor’s. I had one of the original Romeo Zero’s. It was extremely light but it was made of a polymer body and polymer window. It was a lint collector, easily scratched, I broke 2 of them. On the 3rd replacement they sent a new at the time metal shield. I ended up swapping it for a Holosun EPS carry. I’m going to be swapping it to this new Sig Romeo X compact. We have sold quite a few of them and so far zero complaints from our customers. I like that the battery is on the side so I don’t need to install taller sights, the clarity is superb, the circle dot option is great, and you can get them with a green reticle. I don’t like circle dot reticles for sub compact/micro compact pistols because the windows are so small but I can change it to dot only giving me a 2moa dot vs the 3 or 6 moa dots. I prefer a 2moa because it’s small but big enough for quick acquisition and obscures less of the target.
If your CA version has an optic cut slide it will fit but it will be extremely small and may need an adapter plate. The P320 is a standard sized pistol and this optic is for micro compact pistols like the P365. Sig makes a full size version of this optic, it has the same name just without the “compact” word in it. There are a lot of Sig made optics that directly mount to the P320 slide. Most of the slides use the Doctor Point Pro optic cut. You can go super duty rated and get the military optic, go for a more competition style, get a tough but more entry level from Sig and there are a lot of options in between the ones I mentioned. If you really have to run an optic not available in the DPP footprint there are adapter plates to run RMR/507 footprints as well the other 2 main optic footprints.
Yes, this optic fits all the optic cut P365 series. It’s the optic that they sell already installed on the P365 X-macro as well as the P365 Fuse and I believe for all the variants of P365’s though I might be mistaken for the smaller versions. They come in green or red, 3moa, 6moa, and 2moa dot 32moa circle and open or closed emitter glass and all of them are MOTAC so they are motion activated and will shut off after sitting still for a few minutes.. The battery is now on the side so you don’t need taller sights to co-witness unless you want absolute co-witness, with regular height sights it a lower 1/3. Really great optics for the money.
