Yes, the new Romeo1PRO is meant specifically for the M17 cut slides.

It depends on the footprint of this item which is not stated. Due to military specs, the M17 has a footprint for the Leupold Deltapoint Pro which is not the same as the original Romeo 1. Sig Sauer told me that the Romeo1Pro has the same footprint as the Leupold Deltapoint Pro, but I have not confirmed it. I have a M17, so I know for a fact that the old Romeo will not fit it.

It also fits the new X5 Legion and the XCompact; they have the same configuration. It will NOT fit the standard P320 X5... you’ll have to just get the Romeo1 for all other p320s.

According to my research the Romeo 1 "PRO" does fit the M17. It would be better when responding to indicate specific model and part no. PN's: SOR1P100, 101, & 103.
