What is the distance of the vertical hash marks on the BDC-1 Quadplex reticle. Vortex has web sight but Sig Sauer doesn’t so I am lost on this 4x12x50 — 3 Answers

Sig does not provide reticle specifications or subtensions for the Whiskey3 models. You would need to reach out to them to get the exact specifics as they have no been provided to us. Currently this is the reticle subtension information provided by Sig:

Sig Sauer BDC reticle are as followed 1st hash below the actual crosshairs is 3.5” 2nd hash is7.9” 3rd hash 11.2” 4th hash 19.9” 5th top of bottom post is 30.5” and yes this per SigSauer technical department.

There’s no possible way to begin to guess what distance the BDC marks on this scope are for until you take it to the range and figure it out. You’ll have drastically different results from a 30-30 as compared to a .243 or 6.5 Creedmoor. These are very good optics, regardless of price. I’ve got two of them. One on my muzzleloader and one on a 6.5 Creedmoor and I love them especially in low light situations.
